1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using WhatsWhat (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or post a listing. By using WhatsWhat you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and verify your email address before your listings go live. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
4. Posting ads and hypes
You are solely responsible for the content of any ad or hype you post, including its accuracy, legality and the items or services offered. You grant WhatsWhat a licence to display, promote and distribute your content on and through the Platform.
5. Prohibited content and conduct
You may not post or do anything that is unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, infringing, or that involves prohibited goods or services. Spam, scams, harassment, and attempts to circumvent our safety controls are not allowed. We may remove any content and suspend any account at our discretion.
6. Payments and boosts
Some features, such as boosting a listing, are paid. Fees are shown before you pay and are processed by our third-party payment provider. Except where required by law, payments for promotional features are non-refundable.
7. Messaging conduct
Use in-app messaging respectfully and lawfully. We may throttle, restrict or remove messaging access to protect members from spam and abuse.
8. Transactions between members
WhatsWhat is a venue that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction, do not verify items, and are not responsible for the conduct of any member. Always take sensible precautions when buying or selling.
9. Intellectual property
The Platform, its branding and its software are owned by WhatsWhat and protected by law. You may not copy, modify or reuse them without permission.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WhatsWhat is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Platform or any dealings with other members.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any breach of these terms. You may close your account at any time from your account settings.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
